Board of Directors - Lead the Call
Our Board of Directors is made up of individuals throughout our 17 counties who are dedicated to changing the culture. Board members commit to meeting at least one time a month, either with the full board or with sub-committees. They are the governing voice of the agency, and as such help make important decisions. Our board is expected to be willing to take an intersectional, anti-oppression approach to the work that we do at Ampersand. Each board member sits on one of the following committees:
Governance & Personnel
Development & Marketing (incl. Halloween Soiree planning)
Program, Policy, & Evaluation
Individuals who are not board members are welcome on the Finance, Development and Marketing, and Program, Policy, & Evaluation Committees.
Ampersand is seeking passionate and dedicated community members to help lead the call to end sexual violence.
Please send letter of interest to email@example.com and include: name, phone number, preferred pronouns, examples of community involvement, and current occupation, if applicable.
If you need assistance completing this application please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 859-253-2615.
Ampersand’s mission is led by survivors at every level of the organization and people who have experienced sexual violence are encouraged to apply to volunteer, sit on the board of directors, and become employed with us. We are also launching a Survivor’s Council for those interested in self advocacy, community advocacy, and leading survivor centered community projects.
