Ampersand’s Board of Directors has named Taryn Henning as the Interim Executive Director during our search for a new Executive Director.

“The Board has great faith in Taryn Henning’s ability to lead Ampersand during this transition period,” says Yancy Ackerman, Board Chair.

Henning has served as the agency’s Director of Community Engagement for two years, and looks forward to the opportunities afforded in this position.

“I am grateful for the leadership that has preceded me, and I am honored to follow in their footsteps. One of my greatest goals in this position is to continue the legacy of offering our services to survivors of sexual violence and the communities we serve.”

Within the past year Ampersand has undergone a rebrand and has developed a new strategic plan.

“As we move forward and continue to grow, I am excited to undertake this position and to help lead the agency through this transition. I look forward to the continued support of our communities,” said Henning.

More information will be forthcoming regarding Ampersand’s Executive Director search.
